Abstract Collage:
This is a collage of trees made to look abstract. For this project, I took a picture of a tree that I saw outside. After I took the picture, I cropped it so that it was only the tree in the picture and it became the main focus. When I did this, I made several copies of the tree, adjusting the contrasts and mixing them all together making them all look mixed together. This created an abstract looking picture.
The word digital comes from the same source as the word digit and digitus (the Latin word for finger), as fingers are used for discrete counting. It is most commonly used in computing and electronics, especially where real-world information is converted to binary numeric form as in digital audio and digital photography. (Wikipedia)
A collage (From the French: à coller, to glue, French pronunciation: [kɔ.laːʒ]) is a work of formal art, primarily in the visual arts, made from an assemblage of different forms, thus creating a new whole.A collage may sometimes include newspaper clippings, ribbons, bits of colored or hand-made papers, portions of other artwork or texts, photographs and other found objects, glued to a piece of paper or canvas. The origins of collage can be traced back hundreds of years, but this technique made a dramatic reappearance in the early 20th century as an art form of novelty. (Wikipedia)
